Every family has recipes that get passed down through generations. Ours just happened to become a business.
Where It All Began
In 1932, Jo’s grandmother, Vera, started baking shortbread cookies for her family’s cookie jar. Her recipe was simple, but her technique was perfected over decades of practice.
In 1962, Jo first tasted her grandmother’s shortbread cookies and began her lifelong love affair with all butter cookie recipes and buttery baked treats.
The Denver Chapter
In 2022, Jo decided to share her grandmother’s legacy with the world. What started as a farmers market booth with her grandsons Walker and William, has grown into something we never imagined—a beloved local confectionery with customers across the country.
Our Promise
Every cookie, every cake, every candied pecan is made with the same care Vera put into her cookies since 1932. Small batches. Quality ingredients. Recipes perfected over five generations.
We’re not just making confections. We’re continuing a legacy.
